When it comes to risky or accidental situations, the basic measure of protection is reflected in prevention as well as preparedness to respond to a given accident. In this sense, the solution should be sought by implementing the hazard assessment process, that is the risk assessment process of the right situations and the preparation of appropriate documentation. The process of assessing the risk of accidents would include the identification of possible dangers of an accident, determination of the mechanism of its occurrence, determination of the probability of the occurrence of a certain accident, determination, and assessment of possible consequences, definition of measures to respond to an accident and definition of measures for remediation of possible consequences of an accident. This paper presents some of the potential risks that can threaten the environment.
