Abstract

In the work, an analysis of the reliability of the SRs1200x24/4+VR bucket wheel excavator digging drive was performed, which was engaged in the excavation of overburden at the Field E surface mine. Data on failures were taken from the report on work and stoppages at the MB Kalubara opencast mines. The breakdown structure refers to the mechanical and electrical breakdowns of the digging drive, which consists of an electric motor with an installed power of 400 [kW] and a multi-stage conical-cylindrical reducer with same power. Reliability analysis was performed by Weibull distribution.
