Abstract

The depository is a hydro-construction facility of the Mine, where the product of the coal dewatering and classification process is deposited, with the aim of depositing (settling) the solid phase and overflowing the water into the Danube. The obligation of the Mine is to maintain the sedimentation plant in order to pour Category II water into the Danube. One of the maintenance procedures of the sedimentation plant is the removal of material by land machinery and processing at the processing plant. The limiting factor for these works is the presence of water from the primary coal production process. After the completion or longer interruption of coal exploitation in the precipitator, conditions are created for the removal of larger quantities of material for processing at the coal cleaning plant. In this way, the exploitation life of a part of the Mine is extended by four years and the precipitator is prepared for new coal production.
